This 6,600 sf. house is located at the Ranches at Devil’s Thumb. Our clients wanted a mountain modern home to enjoy with their family and friends. Their site was a wooded north facing lot, with views of the ranch floor to the north and spectacular views to the Indian Peaks and the Devil’s Thumb to the northeast.

 

Our solution was to step the house in plan to the north, as the plan moved to the west, to capture the northeast views of the Indian Peaks and the Devil’s Thumb from as many of the rooms possible. A lot of glass was used to capture these magnificent views and bring the outside into the home.

 

On the main level, there is a Great Room, a combined Kitchen/Dining Room, Mudroom/Laundry, an oversized two car Garage, the Main Bedroom Suite and an Office. The lower level contains a large Family Room, two Children’s Bedrooms, a Guest Suite and a Bunk Room.
